monochrome moments


the path I stand on,
is not the easiest one.
it’s made of a thousand tiny rocks
that crunch beneath my feet.
it’s so wide
that I some times fear
that I can no longer see
my direction.
it’s part of my bigger picture
and it terrifies me.

Some times
I try so desperately to remain
that my muscles tremble
my bones ache.
I want to be
on my journey,
not crumbling.
I want to walk, skip, run
and stand.
