‘Sugar-free’ (mellow version) V2

Well, Apprentice is on TV again tonight in the UK so…

Today's Poem

Inspired by the broadcast of latest series of ‘The Apprentice’ TV show with Alan Sugar, which ‘aired’ as I wrote this. This is version 2, a more mellow version; there is a vitriolic version too, published yesterday!

Sugar-free red

Sugar-free

Alan Sugar
You’re not sweet
You’re not a bloke
I’d care to meet

I don’t take sweetener in my tea
I like to taste mine
Sugar-free

And if you ask me
“One lump or two?”
Then I just might
Lump one on you
